We were so looking forward to experiencing the cooking of a man who has held three Michelin stars. Unfortunately we left disappointed.
The food was very average, at best; our wine needed decanting through a filter, but this seemed beyond the capability of a restaurant manager, full of his own misguided self-importance.
My desert was vanilla ice cream with an indifferent chocolate sauce; I don’t remember what I ate for the other courses!
The only thing 3 star was the massive bill; the worst value meal of our three-week holiday.
There are much better and more reasonably priced restaurants in beautiful Bruges.
