Ghent is an expensive place to stay.
This hotel couldn’t be better located. Very close to the tram stops that connect to the train station, and walkable to every part of Ghent’s beautiful centre. And walkable in minutes. The staff are very welcoming and the hotel has a nice bar / restaurant attached and a nice little outdoor pool area.

The downside of this hotel is that it’s noisy, both the noise from the corridors and noise from outside the hotel (i didn’t read the tip to ask to avoid front facing rooms, until now). I woke a good three times.
The bathroom was nice but the bedroom, whilst ok and clean, resembled a basic travelodge in the UK. The room rate didn’t include breakfast either.

I’ve given it three stars as it’s hard to feel you’ve got value for money given these issues. Especially compared to other cities in the world. As I say though, the staff are a credit to the hotel.

Perfect location and friendly staff...tip ask for a room not street side as this can sometimes be noisy if you are on a lower floor.we would highly recomend for a weekend trip.
Have stayed here a few times and will surely stay again when visiting Gent.

Perfect location in the centre of town. Helpful smart and courteous staff, quiet rooms even with a business conference underway and a good breakfast.

Bar and coffee shop with a good menu and a small pool to sit around.

What more could you want?

Nothing to complain about - except a bit of noise from the street on Friday night. Friendly and helpful staff. Modern, nicely decorated hotel. Spaciou, clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Complimentary soft drinks, juice and snacks in the mini bar. Nespresso machine in the room.

In the middle of the center. Nice rebuild buildings. Room is clean and all you need is there. However when I entered, the cleaning staff forget to replace the free bottle of water. I just saw an open bottle with a little bit water left. I stayed there for 2 nights but the room was not cleaned after first night. Breakfast is ok and good variation. Dispite the good location I find it a little pricy. 126 Euro per night incl. breakfast is a bit overpriced.
