Although it's relatively expensive, we have had an amazing lobster experience in Brussels! The lobster was perfectly cooked and amazingly presented on the plate! Lobster shell was incredibly removed!

The sole really was good - flavour of fish was perfect, no excess butter - just right. The funny little mix of vegetables on the side was quite out of place and not interesting. My wife had sole in a creamy sauce and said it was very good. Service was OK if a little frigid. I would not run back but would not be unhappy to be taken there.

This was recommended by our concierge at the Hotel Amigo. We wanted some fresh seafood and this definitely fit the bill. We split an order of Zeeland oysters which were large and fresh. I love European oysters since they have that "fresh from the Ocean" taste that I don't find so much in America. My companions had an order of mussels that were plump and juicy. They were not chewy in the least; cooked perfectly. One claimed they were the best ever and the broth added so much flavor. I had the grilled langoustines and they were tender on the inside and not overdone. It wasn't very busy the night we went. The service was attentive and the meal was leisurely. If you are in a hurry this is not for you. Price seemed reasonable compared to seafood in the US.

We dined here with another couple and sat outside. That evening we each had an appetizer (white asparagus with mousseline and tiny shrimp was incredible!), a main, shared two desserts, and had two bottles of wine. Once we resolved some issues with the bill (an unavailable starter accidentally left on the bill and the incorrect price for the asparagus starters), the ticket came to about 360 Euros, so not inexpensive. As an example, the asparagus starter (so good!) was 23 Euros for one. My husband had wanted to try the eels in green sauce, but they were not available, so he had herring instead. The bouillabaisse was also not available that night, so the other man in the party had sole. I had the rabbit, which was okay, but the sauce was heavier than I personally prefer. And our other member had the cod. For dessert we all shared the sorbet (3 boules) and an apple dish whose name I can't remember. Very good. It was a special occasion, so we expected the price -- we just don't make it a habit!

We ordered two different lobster dishes, one just boiled and with rice, the other was baked with fries. All very good. Service also good here even though this is a very busy place. A bit overpriced.
