I went to have dinner at this nice place with my family. Food was amazing, we ordered gratined mussels, mussel soup and lobster soup. Everything was better than expected. Service though, as mentioned in previous comments, was below expectations with the waiter clearly stressed, not being able to cope with the pressure of handling lots of orders. Waiter needed his manager to remind him that he should come to our table to get our order. Anyway, good food experience.

Had dinner here on our first evening of a romantic break and couldn't have made a better choice. Mussels+chips+beer for €16 each! And the waiter was just wonderful. Cracking jokes and making sure we were well looked after. This place is a must try.

Chez Leon is one of last traditional restaurants operating in this area. I know it from the Seventies and Eighties but hadn't been since then. So it was very interesting to visit it again after all these years with a group of friends. Right away we were greeted by pleasantly smiling waiters and led to our table. It's quite a large place but still manages to be "intimate" with various different groupings.
As far as the bill was concerned, we we were lucky to be able to make use of their special offer of half price meals (not including drinks) which made the lunch very reasonable indeed. A la carte normally is not exactly cheap, but there is also a lunch time offer (3 courses, with 4 different choices) for EUR 16,00 which we sampled on another day and which was also excellent. Children under 12 apparently can eat "free" there - an offer not to be sneezed at.

All in all, on both occasions I was impressed with the friendly service and the quaity of the food.

We really enjoyed our mussels lunch. Good food for kids as well. We went with locals which helped on choosing the dishes. Good service but again I think it helped to be with locals. Crowded but was good. Can be very busy in the high season.

Nice, traditional interior look, tons of tourists... friendly and profesional staff, informal atmosphere.
Food was good, and presents nice quality for price.
Perhaps will be back one day.
