What a great location.. Chez Lyon is a quirky little restaurant on a busy side street just off Grand Place.. The food was lovely.. I had fish and chips which were very tasty! Would definitely recommend 👌🏻

I've been here several times and the mussels are always solid. Head down there on a Sunday evening for all you can eat mussels.

A short walk from the Grand Place, this is the place for dinner. You walk by many restaurants reminiscent of Little Italy in New York with someone trying to get you to eat at their restaurant if you even glance at the posted menu. Keep walking. My daughter had the bucket and I had the provencal mussels. Both delicious. We went back a second night for the seafood platter. It looks better than it tastes- stick with their famous mussels.

Great food, great staff and one of the better places to eat in the area. Try the mussels and chips and the hose beer is good too.

Chez Leon is an institution in Brussels for decades. If you are strolling down Rue des Bouchers and don't know which one to choose among the dozens of restaurants inviting you in, it is natural to choose this one for its reputation and as a "sure value". That is what I did to have dinner with a friend visiting Brussels for a few days. Unfortunately I regreted the choice this time, even more than the last two times when I have done the same choice. Through the years, Chez Leon has become very expensive, without providing anything that would come close to justifying the prices. When you sit down, you pay for everything quite dearly, notably the drinks, and in the end you wonder why is the bill so high. Average food, high prices, there are better choices in the same street, I will try another one next time.
