We, my 2 sons (18&24) and I chose this apartment to have a week of sight- seeing Brussels and having a nice time together. We arrived a bit early, but Odetta was there to explain everything. She had suggested beforehand and organized an extra mattress so the boys (1.92&1.96) didn't have to sleep on the folding bank-bed together and I could sleep comfortably on the double bed in the bedroom which was spacious with a lot of cupboard space. The whole apartment has a lot of cupboard space and a good freezer/fridge. The living room is relatively small, but that was quite clear from the photographs and combined with the kitchen, which had almost anything I could ask for (a large 24cm frying pan with lid would be a nice extra), the bathroom and balcony we had all we needed. The Wi-Fi was working very well in the living room and bedroom. The couch could easily be turned into a 2 person bed and back, shops are quite near. The only item is the parking: parking in the area (and in most of Brussels) is only free from 18.00 to 9.00 the next morning and in the weekend, and only payable for max 3 hours so we chose to park our car near the Atomium for Mon-Fri for just €5.- as you buy a special coin to open the barrier so only pay for 1 day in total. Do empty your car, as security is not guaranteed. As the apartment is only 4 tram stops away from the West Metro Station from which you can travel in every direction that was no problem. There is no washing machine, but there are 3 Laundromats very near. For grown-ups or with a bit older kids this apartment is fine. It is on the ground floor, with only 3 steps up into the house at the entrance which should be possible for older persons as well.
