This is an absolutely stunning building- while you can only get into the putter parts it's fabulous all stone, pillars and four big statues on the stairs. What I found shocking was how it had been left! It's currently covered in scaffolding so they must be doing something there but mainly inside, however there is a lot of graffiti and a couple of homeless people sleep there- how can such an absolutely gorgeous building me left to get into this state? I was horrified! I'd really recommend going to see it as it's beautiful but be prepared! You only need 20 mins.

Good spot to get a nice overview of part of Brussels. It overlooks a valley view of the city. There's some cool monuments to the World Wars, and good views of the Palace of Justice. No real reason to linger.

I love big open spaces with old beautiful buildings , and if it allows you to have a panoramic view of the city, it will make it almost perfect. I took a morning walk and it was really beautiful to be there when it's not so crowded.

As you walk towards the railing, you start to wonder of the amazing view you'll get.

And then you get there. And you think, is this it? You look straight down at the top of some, I think, ordinary buildings with no real view. The Atomium is in the distance, but that's about the most impressive thing you'll see. I don't rate this as a tourist attraction at all. There is a much better view near the Royal Palace and only 5 minutes walk or so away.

Belgium is known for being a flat country, so it's a pleasant surprise to find in Brussels-center a place with a good view to the north-west part of the city. Not as good as from the top of the Atomium, but good enough to deserve a stop and a moment of contemplation.

Several important buildings are visible from there, notably the Atomium itself and the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur. You can also see the sunset.

But the place in itself is often crowded, a bit noisy, and adjacent to the imposing Palais de Justice, which would be beautiful it it weren't for its perpetual state of renovation, with ugly scaffoldings and such.

There is a monument in the center of the place and, interestingly, an elevator to get to the bottom of the "balcony".

There is an underground car park.
