you will find many excellent restaurants in Brussels, some Italian, but none more authentic and truly Tuscan in quality of cuisine and service than this.

“Friendly, cozy and wonderfully delicious”
Reviewed 23 February 2012

I've been living in Brussels for almost three years now, but this was single-handedly the best food I've had here so far. The restaurant is a cute, cozy little thing run by a family, the typical Italian place where your mouth starts to water already when the waiter goes into details to tell you about the meals, all of which, by the way, is made of original, Italian ingredients. Definitely a new favourite!

You should try the mix starter plate, both charcuterie and cheese are v good, portions are big, best is to share between two :) pasta dishes all very tasty. Casual atmosphere, one of my favorite italians in Brussels...

“Unbelievably good”
Reviewed 2 February 2012

Wow, this one goes directly in my top 10 of best places to eat in brussels.

we had Pene with Gorgonzola, Penne al Ragu (the REAL bolognaise), and an incredible dish, tortilli (large tortelonni), filled with goat cheese and honey, with a sauce of talegio and pear, i have never tasted anything like it, the Ragu was the best i have ever tasted, the Penne with Gorgonzola was perfect, just cheese, no cream or butter, a very pure taste of gorgonzola, good house wine, and i hope to be back very soon to taste the other unique recipes this place has to offer. the waiter/owner was very friendly and helpful, i have been to at least 50 italian restaurants in Brussels, and this is one of the best 3 (the others i like are Sale Pepe Rosmarino, and Ciao). we spent a total of 70 euros for 3 people, coffee water and wine included (we had just one pasta dish each), fantastic. (oh and they make great coffee as well)

“One of Brussels' Best Values/Experiences...”
Reviewed 31 January 2012

This cozy family owned and run Italian restaurant hosts one of the most "valuable" dining experiences in Brussels. Their limited and creatively presented "painters palate" menu boasts simple Tuscany delights with affordable prices. Nestled just off The Grand Sablon on a charming cobblestone street, this restaurant is perfect for friends, family or even business groups (on their second level). Filled with warmth and personality!
