Just the perfect hotel you would dream! Of course would you say for such an institution but truly memorable stay. The building itself would worth the visit. Staff is excellent, breakfast sumptuous and so on.

A very nicely located hotel with a specific atmosphere. However, it does not fully satisfy the participants of the SPG program (recognition or benefits). Despite this, a friendly service is ready to help you.
Also be careful with equipment from the bathroom, because choosing the water temperature there is not an easy thing.

Room Tip: If you like to sleep with open window, avoid rooms from the street side. Norrow, but really noisy.

It was our first stay in this hotel which is having a long history. Lots of famous people ever stayed in this hotel and the architecture is wonderful.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, usually they start speaking in English immediately as lots of foreign people stay in this hotel (but of course they are also Dutch speaking). The hotel is having a very international atmosphere.
We had some bad luck with our room, but we have to admit that our complain was solved very professional.
If you further want to explore The Hague, the hotel is very convenient as it is in the city center and everything is in walking distance. So to summarize: wonderful location in a very luxury hotel with great service. We look forward to another stay.

Des Indes is still an hotel with the style of the time it was build (1881). Beautyfull rooms with great beds. Also the location in the old city center is very good. You can visit every tourist attraction by foot.

I am pretty certain that it must be very, very good. He is listed among others in a short film that plays as you turn on the TV in your room. And the TV being the least beautiful accessory in the room, is slightly tucked away to the side in Room 25. This is one of the most gorgeous rooms we have ever had the pleasure to spend time in, and I am fairly sure this is not their top of the line room. From the bathroom, with no scarcity of hot water, to the slate floor, you will find the provided slippers handy on it, to the tall ceiling, with stucco designs, elegant furnishings, desk, chairs, of which there are three, this room is large. The draperies are stunning in the morning light and although there is a bit of noise from the street, some construction next door it seems, it is generally very quiet during sleeping hours. The canopy bed, king, is warm and inviting after a hard day of being a tourist. The staff are excellent, from the front door, as we pulled up in our car, he was right there to help us. Parking in their small lot is directly in front of the hotel, but does not intrude on the look of the hotel. The front desk In assessing if the room was ready and guiding us through the check in process. A short tour of the hotel and what we might need later during our stay, the reception did a commendable job. We might have needed further instructions in operation of the heating and cooling systems, and the various lights, in where the switches were located. There is a mini bar and a tall decorated amour that serves as a closet, but drawer space is limited, a tiny bit. Everyone to whom we have sent photos seems to approve as much as we do. A delight all the way around. I would return if ever in the area again.
