Good place to stay: nice but not big rooms, friendly stuff, 15 minutes walking distance from the Central station. The only big minus is the construction nearby which won’t let you sleep after 7.30 am.

Yes, they have a “Street Art Room" with lots of little interesting artistic details here and there. The room was very clean, the staff very friendly. The bed could be a little more comfortable but ok for a short stay. The window can be opened a bit allowing fresh air into the room. Location is excellent! The Markthal and Blaak station are just a few minutes walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

The rooms were larger than expected and very clean, breakfast was extensive, staff was extremely helpful and close to subway stops. For me, the hotel meets or exceeds every important criteria.

In addition, there is a small bar with snacks so you can grab a drink in the evening. You can easily walk to a wide array of restaurants. There are lots of comfortable chairs and tables and chairs outside where you can sit.

You can walk to the main market and to the waterfront where you catch water buses or tour boats. The buildings surrounding the hotel were a bit bleak but the neighborhood was pleasant and there is a convenience store just a few blocks away.

The staff was so helpful. They went on-line and searched for water buses when I failed to figure out the directions and helped me resolve a problem with my train card.

Stayed for a week in this hotel. Perfect location for the city and right beside the metro and train station. Basic hotel, but staff friendly and the place was quiet and spotless. Clicked all the right boxes..

I have to say, you kind of know what you're getting with an IBIS. But this one was poor. The room, very basic, no tea making facilities, no iron and barely a wardrobe. I'd also have to question the cleanliness of the bed sheets, hugely disappointing when you want to just relax in your room.

I tried to buy a bottle of water at the bar, something that should have taken 2mins at best, ended after 10mins with me giving up to be served and they wernt busy.

In fairness it's in a decent location and the service on check in was very pleasent, shame about the rest of the hotel. Won't be staying here again. However Rotterdam as a city looks lovely, will definitely come back to visit, just not at an IBIS.
