We’ve visited Bazar since it opened and, whether lunch or evening,it’s an unmatched venue with acoustics perfect for happy, hungry groups to feast on generous portions of middle-of-the-road arabic cuisine - served in vast Moroccan bowls, on mosaic tables under man size lanterns.Service is consistently faultless.

We were a business group of 50 people. We were seated upstairs in an isolated area. The food was tasty and served family style. The staff was attentive. One person in our group couldn’t join use because she can’t walk up stairs and there isn’t an elevator.

This place came up second with the search for “Persian restaurant” in Amsterdam, so we reserved a table and headed off, looking forward to a Persian Kebab, Ghormeh Sabzi or Qeymeh ... Nothing of the kind. There was nothing on the menu that was authentically Persian. It seems the ‘boss’ is Iranian, so I guess that’s as close as you will get. So, you might call it a “Persian’s Restaurant”, but definitely not a “Persian restaurant”.
That being said, the food was good, prices reasonable, the waiter friendly and quite helpful. We had good humus and falafel salad. No hard feelings.

The place used to be a Church which has been adapted. Really nice and food proposal and quick service.
It was really crowdy when I visited the place despite of the fact that it was Tuesday nigth, so I recommend to call and book before visiting.
