5*treatment all the way! Champagne on arrival ,staff incredibly helpful,rooms outstanding even a kitchenette with dishwasher microwave and hob ! Beautiful soft towels and robes .breakfast was outstanding.location superb!

This hotel is a little gem. Nothing is too much for the friendly staff and it has a very personal feel to it. The rooms are well furnished and proportioned and at the end of the day after sightseeing it's a great "home from home" to come back to. The peace and quiet makes it a lovely get away and yet it is only 10 minutes walk from some great sights. The fabulous luxury breakfast really sets you up for the day. We will be going back!

The hotel rooms and facilities are excellent they are very clean and good standard. Staff are very helpful and cannot do enough for you to make your trip special. The breakfast is great with lots of variety and such good quality. Hotel is in great location easy walking to restaurants and landmarks and on the sight seeing bus route. Recommend highly and thank you to the staff for such a warm welcoming, you made Amsterdam special

I booked this accommodation given the luxurious rooms, location and the fact it was our first visit to Amsterdam. I wanted it to be perfect for my wife and I.

We provided the hotel with our flight details as we had an airport collection included with our booking. This was excellent and on time. We travelled to the accommodation in a very nice Mercedes. Our driver was talkative and informative.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were promptly offered a drink on the house. A nice glass of Moët & Chandon went down a treat! Our cases were taken to our room - A royal Suite on the first floor overlooking the river. The room was absolutely amazing. The size, attention to detail, decor - just everything was so perfect. It certainly lived up to 'Luxury Suites' name.

The location was spot on, just on the cusp from central Amsterdam. A 10-15 minute walk to Dam Square. Behind the accommodation is the Gassan Diamond factory where you can take a guided tour (free), as well as hop on/off the sightseeing bus/boat.

Our breakfast on the first morning was very good. We were attentively looked after, the waiting staff spoke to us freely and made us feel most welcome. Sadly, on the second day this was not the case. No one came to take our order, After 40 minutes I had to ask someone to come over (other people were dealt with promptly). My breakfast was then served stone cold. A replacement was ordered, however by this point I had lost my appetite as we needed to leave just after 11am to make our way back to the airport.

The bar area was not staffed, and twice we sat there for a good few minutes before anyone came over (There were no other guests in the lobby area at the time). I can't believe staff are that oblivious to what's happening at the front of house, that we went unnoticed. We were also overcharged on our bill for something we didn't have - This was sorted upon checkout, but in a place of few guests, mistakes like this shouldn't happen.

Overall our stay was very good, the couple of minor issues wouldn't prevent us from returning, however these minor service issues do need resolving going forward so you retain your 'Luxury' title.
