Pro's: early check-in and well located for sights in central Amsterdam.
Cons: bad staff attitude, I was over charged for breakfast despite showing very clear pricing on a leaflet at reception and told by the manager that I was wrong. Staff seem untrained and lack basic understanding of customer service.
My room was tiny despite booking a twin/double. The shower room was tiny and positioning of the faucet/tap made it impossible to wash my face in the sink, so had to use lots of extra water in the shower each day.
Bedroom walls are thin, so expect lots of noise from other customers. I was woken most nights/very early mornings by suitcases being put on the floor and wheeled through the hotel by customers on early check-out.
The bar man was incredibly rude and couldn't be bothered to make a drink for me or other customers when politely asked. He also had a large hole in his shirt and looked scruffy.
Very expensive for service and accommodation in comparison to other nearby hotels.
The only real plus about this hotel is it's location. There are however, lots of others very close by, so I'd recommend looking them up before you consider this hotel.More
