We wanted to love this place as - there is so much to love about it - Unfortunately, the restaurant experience took away from it being a pleasant experience.
*Great Location with lots of transport links!
* Decor - plush, beautiful and luxurious.
*Comfort - the rooms were well designed and cosy even with the little space some had.
*Cleanliness - one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in.
*Welcome - lovely welcome from front of house staff.
*A few of the staff in the dining area were incredibly slow, we were there when it was not busy at all to when it was more busy and they were slow to respond, forgot and mixed up orders. Gave us wrong information and treated us with contempt at times.
There were some members of staff who you could see were trying, however, without the support from their colleagues they were not able to meet the needs of all the patrons to the standard that would be expected from this group of hotels.
* While checking in and checking, the front-of-house staff were lovely, welcoming and informative - unfortunately, the front desk design causes a bit of a mess with everyone waiting with little space to do so.
* The noise from other patrons walking around their rooms was incredibly loud.
