If you are looking for an authentic hotel in Amsterdam then you will like this hotel. This is an old residence/business converted to a hotel. There are 3 floors in the hotel and we got the 3rd floor. Having stayed in Amsterdam before I knew what to expect with the stairs. If you can't climb stairs then don't stay here. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. This hotel is actually in a great location right outside Vondel Park - the Tram drops you off right outside the hotel. It is good to get out of the City Center and be in a quiet neighborhood. Wifi was actually very good on the 3rd floor. We didn't take the breakfast so can't rate it. I like authenticate hotels so if you do too - this hotel will work for you!

I spent 5 night in this hotel. My room was very nice and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. There are many small things , umbrella, blanket, book , what we can use free. As a lonely traveller I was very happy when I found a small puppy friend in the room. They have no elevator, so if somebody have problem with steep stairs, it can be a problem. They have bikes for rent too. The hotel is very good located. Tram line 2 stop is very close to the hotel, but we can reach the museum area and the flower market on foot too. The Vondelpark is very close, so we can start the day with a run or just a walk.

Small room, but nice and clean, bathroom with enough space (difficult to find in the Netherlands!). I would however mind the stairs (not very accessible). Located close to Voldelpark and the Museumplein. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Room Tip: We stayed in the -1 floor and had a little garden for personal use.

I stayed here due to its proximity to some meetings. The hotel lobby was lovely and the staff were super helpful. However the room was very loud with poor sound insulation, furthermore the room was quite dated with some attempts at modernising though some furnishings that looked great in the photos but not that great in reality. I was quite pleased I was only staying one night.

This is a small hotel just off the vondelpark and south of the museumplein, a high end residential district right on the Tram line #2 that I have stayed in before. They have a few rooms on a couple of floors with steep stairs, as everywhere in the Netherlands. No lift but they will help carry bags if you ask. No closets or such, lots of ways to hang things on the wall (really) and a tiny bathroom. The shower was integrated into the bathroom and a squeegee was provided for the aftermath. The lobby/reception/breakfast room is all integrated into one. A nice place for people that want a more intimate experience. Easy to get around town on the Trams or buses, even to the airport as well. About 15 minutes on the tram to the centraal train station.

Room Tip: no elevator, steep stairs
