This is easily the best and most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. The main priority for us was location as we had a very busy few days planned exploring Amsterdam. It’s great that you can have location and luxury at this hotel. It was a short taxi journey from Schipol airport and upon arrival we were greeted with some of the most lavish decor that exuded luxury. We booked via last minute.com and unfortunately they didn’t hate our booking listed, luckily when we gave our booking number they managed to find us on the system. A note to all those booking via third parties. We were given two free drink tokens for this issue, which allowed us any drink of our choice in the bar. We received an upgrade to a deluxe room and it was wonderful, a large bed, wonderful bathroom complete with two sinks and a bath with overhead shower. All of the complimentary toiletries were l'occitane and fabulous. Breakfast was lovely, there was a great selection of food for everyone - we particularly loved the pastries. Throughout the day there was complimentary pastries, hot and cold drinks, and sweets for you to help yourself too. The atmosphere in the bar in the evening was great, a wonderful selection of sensational cocktails and yummy bar food.
