Location isn’t too bad and you can be at central station within 10-15mins if you time it right with the walk to the metro and the timing of the train. Room was clean and tidy, breakfast was fine, but nothing more. Check in was excruciatingly slow and probably took the best part of 20mins. Not what you need after a day of travelling to get to the hotel. Would possibly stay there again, but would be more inclined to look elsewhere.

The hotel was very good ,nice rooms, good services, nice breakfast and an awesome bartender Alexis he has really made our staying a great and really joyful. he had castormar care and he made us have great expirice at the bar .😌 joyful and he makes sure clients are happy.

Still at the hotel ,despite my complaints about the heating function still not fixed it.We can't sleep well during the night , If you want to save money try something else. Sorry to write this but I paid a lot of money.

I reserved a hotel room for five nights, from February 5th, 2024, to February 9th, 2024. However, after two nights, the bed sheets and pillow sheets hadn't been changed. Upon contacting the reception, I was informed that they only change them every two nights. Despite accepting this, after three nights, they remained unchanged. When I approached the reception in person, a lady informed me that they don't change them for longer stays. When I requested this policy in writing, she became rude. Initially hesitant to provide her name, she eventually stated it was IMI. Upon asking for her full name, she became angry. This rude behavior, coupled with the refusal to change the bedding, has made this hotel stay the worst I've had while traveling. With one more night remaining, I will advise all tourists and my friends attending or planning to attend Cisco Live in Amsterdam in the future to avoid booking at this hotel.

Stayed here for a long weekend to enjoy Amsterdam.
The hotel is 15-20 minutes away from the centre by car, although it's quicker coming back.
We used Uber as this was much cheaper than a taxi.
The hotel is clearly quite new and very well run.
Our welcome was the best I have had, and I used to be IHG Platinum Elite.
The elevators are rapid to cover the 14 floors.
The room was very clean and modern.
The shower needs a larger screen to stop splashing on the floor but a minor point.
The bar is very well stocked, better than most hotels.
The food we enjoyed one night for dinner was pleasantly good, tasty, and generous portions.

The star of the show and she made our stay so enjoyable was a young lady from Norway.
Mina is a 24-carat gem. This young lady will go very far in life.
Mina you have such a wonderful personality and you could be anything.

Initially I was going to give this hotel 5 stars, but during our last day , upon returning to our hotel room I realised the cleaning staff had taken some personal belongings out of our room while cleaning.
The first thing I did was contact the reception that did absolutely NOTHING to handle the situation. They did not search nor took the incident of theft seriously.
Of course they knew that after our departure there was nothing I could have done to be compensated for my stolen items, as nobody in charge from the hotel has contacted me since , even after I have sent multiple emails to the hotel and a couple of managers. 2 weeks later, and still nobody has contacted me back.

WARNING! If you stay at the Holiday Inn Epxress North Riverside , lock all your belongings in your suitcases and do not leave anything lying around in the room. Nothing is safe inside your room once the cleaning staff comes to clean. They will take anything they want and the hotel will do nothing about your personal items being stolen. The hotel is perfectly aware that this is happening all the time , but will take no action ! You have been warned.

Worst hotel experience ever!
