Great museum with lots of famous artwork. Very crowded as is to be expected on a rainy afternoon. Tour groups are very annoying as they congregate around famous paintings for 10 or so minutes making it very difficult to see the painting.

Loved the architecture of the building and some of the smaller, less famous galleries like the pottery and model ships.

We had a lovely time. My only gripe would be they don't tell you no the tickets that backpacks weren't allowed. However the staff was very nice and scanned our tickets before we queued for the cloakroom so that we could skip the queue when we came back.

A ‘must see’ for anyone interested in art or simply looking to see some of the world’s most famous paintings.
Special collections require timed tickets so best to book online in advance (no queues either)
Injured myself prior to my trip but museum had complimentary wheel chairs! couldn’t have seen all the exhibits on crutches!
Cafe queues a bit long but nice food.

We were thrilled to see the Rembrandt Exhibit and wish we'd had more time. It was quite crowded and quite large. If possible, allow more than one day to visit. If not, it is still very much worth the time.

If you like museums, you can't miss this one while you're in Amsterdam. It's huge, so don't expect to see everything in one day.
