Its right in the centre of amsterdam, easy to get to anywhere, the train station, shopping, red light distract, anywhere! But its on a quiet side street so it was quiet and peaceful. Lovely and comfortable apartment, clean and had everything we needed including kettle, cooker, fridge, shower and bathroom! Staff were extremely helpful and there was free wifi. Felt safe and comfy in this apartment, definately one of the best I've stayed in, and i've stayed in quite a few in amsterdam central. So all in all, perfect location, lovely apartment, and good price!

Wonderful location.n Right next to Dam Square and a short walk from the train station. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. They handed us a map and circled things right when we got there. There was a kitchen for use even though we didn't use it. Thanks to this site I had no trouble finding the place and once inside we never heard noise from outside.
We had a room on the top floor. The room was clean and felt very comfortable.
Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely stay here when i come back.

Location is fantastic for central A'dam (2 minute from Dam Square, just behind Krasnopolsky Hotel). Room is extremely tidy with furnishings like ikea style, in good condition (ie: perfectly adequate but not fancy). Michel is friendly. This is not a hotel, but a locked room / in a converted house, so it is more or less a studio apartment without a kitchen. Furnishings are simple but fine. My room had two single beds, not a double, which might be less comfortable for a couple - so could be worth checking in advance. WIFI is excellent. There is a table / desk and the room has enough space.I needed somewhere to stay between business meetings and it was just perfect. If tight stairs is a problem, or you have much luggage that may be difficult, because stairs are tight and (depending on floor) there could be up to 3 flights. I will happily stay there again if the price is right. There is no reception, and keys are held at the neighbouring bike shop, so it's perhaps important to make sure arrangements for a key are in place if you arrive after hours.

Room Tip: Higher floors mean more steep staircases.

We stayed here on a business trip for a conference that is on at the Rai every year, so we have stayed in quite a few hotels in Amsterdam now. This is by far the best in this price range. Clean, secure and comfortable. We were made to feel welcome on arrival and for the first time ever, we were given a map of the city. There are many good reviews for this accomodation, so I will list what there is in the aprtment as I couldn't find this informationand it may be use fule if you have limited luggage as we did. There is a hairdryer, doesn't work in the shaver socket in the bathroom, but is fine in any of the other plentiful sockets in the room. However, there is only a mirror in the bathroom, so take a hand mirror. Free wifi - very useful. Kitchen area had a kettle, coffee maker, fridge. Fruit tea bags, coffee pads and dried milk and sugar. 1 plate, 2 forks and 4 heatproof glasses. I didn't ask for a teaspoon, but I am sure they would supply one if asked. I didn't really know how to use the coffee maker, so that was hit and miss. Towels were plentiful. there is a fan in the room if it is hot and all the windows open, but it is noisy if you do as this is just off Dam Square. If you want the room serviced, you need to ask. We weren't bothered about this, we are more than capable of cleaning up after ourselves! The beds and pillows were comfy to sleep on. This is the first time I have felt happy about leaving any valuables behind (we have had money stolen in other hotels in the past), alrthough there isn't a safe. Your own door locks and you have a key to the main door which is also locked at all times. If I could've booked for next year as I was leaving, I would've done!
