By the time we reached Amsterdam after spending 2 weeks in France & Geneva, we had our fill of rich French food and wanted some simple, "comfort" food ... noodle soup! The vegetarian ramen at Tokyo Ramen Iki hit the spot. We come from Silicon Valley, a very diverse area with a lot of Asians (I'm Asian). We have a lot of ramen and other Asian noodle places to choose from. I can't recall getting such a variety and huge portion of veggies at home compared to the generous, fresh vegetables in the ramen at this restaurant. Here, the broth was tasty, the meal filling and healthy. Our waiters both times were attentive. We enjoyed it so much we visited Tokyo Ramen Iki twice during our 5 days in Amsterdam. No, it's not gourmet food, but tasty ramen that is better than what we get at home. I would discourage getting the spicy version of the ramen because the taste of spicy oil, which makes it hot, just overwhelms the taste of the underlying broth.

One day though, they ran out of rice. That should NEVER happen in an Asian restaurant. Buy another rice cooker.

A chicken broth based soup. You can order a lot of extra’s as eggs, char sui etc. The music was just horrible. Playing hiphop and hearing n*gger this and ni*gger that is just inappropriate it is not a club. Not the correct music for this little Japanese place.
Food is just medium not bad but also not that special. Meatballs is just a bit weird in the soup. There are other good places for ramen.

I had the worst Ramen experience in my life. The meatball was cold and the broth tasted like they had to reheat it for the 80th time. The Belgian waitress was super rude and wasn’t helpful at all. She could have offered to make a new one or serve another dish. She said well you are the first that complains, no one ever complained then left the table. I lived in Japan and know how a ramen should taste like. But if you serve this together with poor service then you should be ashamed of calling yourself a ramen shop.

Our B&B was located very near Tokyo Ramen and every time we walked by it was busy, especially with Asians ( which is a good sign! ).
We tried it for lunch one day and it was really good! It´s a tiny cozy place, the young man who served us was extremely friendly and quick. The Ramen was fresh and super tasty. Also the starters he recommended were delicious. This is a quirky young place, with good background music and a warm yummy soup in your stomach you leave happy :-))
