We visited Maastricht while staying in this hotel. We enjoyed it. First of all the staff is very friendly and helpful: from the very first moment you feel home in this small hotel. Their location is excellent, too. A convenient small walk and you are in the centre of Maastricht. No trouble parking your car, here. For a small amount of €'s your car can be parked in the immediate vicinity. Rooms are - for a city hotel- rather large, convenient and nicely designed.
Please, don't skip their breakfast: a very nice experience, as well. We will recommend it to all our friends!

We stayed at Pastis for the Ironman event. They could not have been more friendly and helful, even laying on a 5am breakfast (we helped ourselves). The hotel is in the great position to have a short walk into the centre and up the road there is a choice of four restaurants if you dont fancy the walk. we had the budget room, which it was. But it was adequate and if yu want biggerthen there are other options. hint. book direct with the hotel as its cheaper. thank you Chris and Victoria UK.

We stayed at this Boutique hotel during TEFAF and the city was packed. Even so the hotel is situated in a quiet location away from the centre but within easy reach. It's a level walk that was welcome after the meals we had eaten in the evenings! The proprietor is a really nice guy who makes a splendid cup of coffee in the mornings. The bedroom is well apointed and the bed comfortable. We will stay here again for next years visit.

This is a nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and in a location close to the University. We were in a room in the Annex around the corner from the main building. The neighbourhood is quiet but the hotel rooms are poorly sound-proofed and one could easily hear people come in and out of their rooms and also voices from other rooms at times. The lighting in the bedroom and bathroom was dim and the decor and furniture was basic and gloomy but everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. There are few amenities in the room and the hotel provided one square cm of soap in the bathroom which was obviously shaved off a larger block which seemed unnecessarily cheap. There was a large soap dispenser in the shower. In the hallway there was access to coffee and drinks from a fridge which was a nice touch. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on the food. Overall this was ok as a place to stay but wouldn't recommend it if you want a touch of luxury.

Both Raymond and Susanne were friendly and helpful during our stay. We talked with them about general things in Maastricht and they were both willing to take the time to chat with us. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood walking distance to the center of town and also to St. Pietersburg. The hotel has no lift but Susanne carried our suitcase up to the first floor, the stairs are a bit steep. Breakfast was very good and Raymond is also a baker so you will find his bread served at breakfast. Now for the toilet. For us it was an amusing subject to discuss and it took our relationship to another level. There's no door for the toilet and shower so we took turns going out on the terrace "for a smoke" or used the toilet while the other one was in the shower. I would say it was more of a B&B than a hotel but I liked that. I would definitely stay there again. Parking across the street is available for 6€/day.
