Kees hotel is a lovely traditional hotel, with warm and cosy décor. From the minute you walk in the front door, there is a traditional feel with log fires and deep colours. This is carried through to the bar, which is also lovely. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and we couldn’t fault them at all. The food is second to none, and the Sunday carvery is particularly good, with as much food as you can eat available for a very reasonable price. The function room is cosy (that’s where the Sunday carvery is held) and again nicely decorated in deep colours. It also had a lovely atmosphere with dimmed lights, fairy lights and lots of candles on the tables. The bedrooms are also very clean and are better than I’ve seen in other 3 star hotels.
