Paddy was a friendly guy, the room was clean and tidy, the breakfast was exceptional, just a short walk to town maybe 10 minutes a perfect location for traveling the area. A beautiful landscape and garden

Room tip: a little hard to find signage is a little weak

A lovely country home with easy access and parking, but most of all a wonderful host Paddy Campbell. We were welcomed with tea and cake, had great conversations with Paddy, and he was always looking out for our needs. Easy walk into the twin town of Stranorlar/Ballybofey for dinner. The place was always warm and clean. We had a nice big room. Highly recommend it.

One alert: Paddy takes payment by cash only.

We found this b&b on the trip up for a match, its 5mins from the stadium so was well handy. There was a warm welcome on arrival and the room was antique decorated which gave it a homely touch. Breakfast had a lot to offer so we were well fed before the game. We were able to leave our bag there until after the match which was very helpful. All in all well looked after

We found this house on trip advisor as sadly, we were coming to Stranorlar for the 1st time, to attend one of our lovely friend's funeral. We were greeted by Paddy who looked after us so beautifully. He knew our friend's family and was so kind, helpful and thoughtful.

The house is homely and beautiful, with stylish antiques and warm touches. Although we did not get to meet Evelyn, Paddy told us she is the interior designer of the house and together they had spent hours in antiques fairs and shops. The house is victorian and the owners have treasured all of it's features, from the beautiful parquet floors to the window wood panelling, original victorian kitchen, ect...The gardens are beautiful and looked after. the house is so quiet and has a wonderful sense of tranquility and warmth.. Our room was quiet, extremely clean and comfortable, again with beautiful furniture. Our room had a big en suite bathroom and great shower.

The breakfast was delicious, with a table laid with a variety of cereals, fresh fruit salad and orange juice. Followed by a full Irish cooked breakfast and fresh coffee and tea. Classical music playing in the background, again, welcomed by the infectious smile of Paddy spinning a few yarns over the breakfast table.

In summary, we would highly recommend this little gem of B&B to anyone that need to stay in or near Stranolar, Paddy is the perfect host, his house the perfect house. We would come back without a second thought.
