Hair found in food/ everything is cooked from frozen. Owner won't accept comments so don't bother trying best avoid like the plague or catch it there.

The difference of our experience from the other reports first made me think I was at a different restaurant but I checked the address and it is the correct one
We arrived about 8:00 in the evening, there were a few people hanging around but it appeared to be closed. When we went in we were told the chef had gone home but they could sort something out, but I am not sure what without a chef. The restaurant is very small and certainly not fancy but that may not be a problem. The bar upstairs was open and billiards was being played by a couple of people but was otherwise empty. The cigarette smoke from the bar was coming into the restaurant area which would not be acceptable if we had stayed
The only positive we could find was the person we spoke to was very friendly and wanted to help but could not offer what we were looking for and we left somewhat disappointed after reading the previous reports
The evening before this we were a group of 24 looking for a restaurant and I am relieved that we did not come here as it was one of the places we had considered

We recently visited the South Coast of KZN and stopped at the Spillers Warf. It was rather early (so it felt) as many of the restaurants were not open yet. I saw someone at Bela's cleaning, and indeed found the owner busy cleaning after the a night of celebration. I asked whether she would be able to provide us with breakfast..."sure" she said,.. "let me get you a table ready"! Within 5minutes we had a table ready for 8 people. Although the service was a little bit slow (I assume it was the time of the day as well as the night before) the food and views from the restaurant made up for it. Can recommend this small but cheerful restaurant at all times.

This family owned restaurant is phenominal. They made our evening one to remember. From the hands on service to the fantastic food. They went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. I will definately be back.
