Piccolo Giardino (small garden in the Italian) was one of the restaurants listed in the iQ130 guide which we looked at while staying in said hotel directly across the road. (See separate review). Tired, fed-up, and hungry after a 750-mike 15-hour drive from wast Oxfordshire, it was handy, buzzing with young people, did Italian food, and looked terribly inviting. All of the table on the little triangle of grass shaded by tall trees were packed so we took a table inside, The interior was nice but we were the only ones inside but still ordered a couple of grosse biers and checked out the menu. It runs to two short A5 pages and reads more like bar snacks. Our friendly waitress was lovely so I cannot complanin aabout either service or the beer. However, if you're looking for a real Italian risorante-style experience whilst in Zurich, get on Google.
