Locations of swiss star apartments in Zurich are in very sketchy areas. Avoid at all costs, particularly not appropriate for famiies. No AC in JULY! We had to leave windows opened (very scarey in that kind of neighborhood), and could not sleep at all due to the loud music and breaking beer bottles below the apt in the street. The next morning at sunrise, people were chanting in the street below the apt. We were moved to another apt. located behind another bar. We had to carry our luggage up 4 flights of stairs. We again had to open the windows and were overwhelmed from smells coming from the hookah bar, & indian food residents were cooking, and loud noises made by the apt. residents in our building & in the parking lot. We requested a refund from swiss star management, and to date no $ has been refunded. No sleep, thus vacation in Zurich ruined. We would have preferred staying in a tent!

One of the travelers in our group died 2 days before our trip due to which our travel had to be abandoned. But the apartment bluntly refused to give any refunds. We had booked a 3 bed apartment for 4 nights and they just pocketed that money for no services delivered. Greedy people.... completely avoidable....

I was having a concert finishing late in Frauenfeld and had to find a hotel near it. So I decided to take this one that one of the cheapest. It was a good surprise for me as I had a really nice apartment with bath and a kitchen. Everything was clean and the bed was really comfy.
