High above Lac Leman, you will find this old hotel with new charms. The interior may strike you as old fashioned, but if you like it, you will love it. A wonderful terrace, a swimming pool and a park to relax all add to the atmosphere.
There is only one elevator, but it is a fast one and otherwise, you may take the slow stairs. All rooms are different in size. We had a corner room with two bath rooms, very elegant. Sizeable and sleepwell beds.
The staff is absolutely forthcoming and friendly, they will go miles for you. Breakfast buffet is ample. The family still shows a firm hand in managing the whole affair.
The restaurant, however, is at the low end of expectations. We enjoyed a watery soup and a tasteless mullet on top of sugared endives. Stiff price of CHF 87 for a 3-course meal.More
