I've just come back to Australia after roaming around England, Scotland, Switzerland, Italy and Germany for 6 weeks. Travelling solo, I wanted clean, comfortable and not too pricey accommodation. The St Moritz Youth Hostel filled the bill perfectly!! Ultra clean, modern, friendly staff, quite good food and a bus stop right out front made for a perfect place to stay for me. Book really early if you want a family room though, they get snapped up fast. I only planned to stay one night, but just another night at CH40 entitled me to a free pass on all local transport (local buses, the cable car , cog railways etc - which alone were valued at CH80 for the round trip). Winter deal only I gather but really great value. Free wifi in the lobby and dining room
