My husband and I stayed here as part one of our honeymoon and right from the start we were treated like royalty. We stayed in a deluxe room for 5 nights at 930 Swiss Francs a night. While staying there, they had treated us with a bottle of champagne, chocolates and fruit to celebrate our honeymoon. We were also there for International Women's Day when we were also treated with a bottle of champagne and chocolates.

Every detail of the hotel was perfect and the serviced was impeccable. The food at the restaurants were delicious and were very hearty. The spa was magnificent. We had booked a private room for two and both enjoyed a spa treatment each. Great way to relax after a day of skiing!! Just like the hotel itself, everything was VERY expensive but if your wallet allows you to, why not spoil yourself for a few days?

We had a wonderful five star stay at this hotel. It is an authentic old world hotel with all of the service that bring and is truly a palace style hotel. The location is right in the centre of St Moritz and the atmosphere is buzzing. I cannot say enough about how the staff just make the experience. They offer true hospitality.
The spa is beyond belief. Breakfast in the large dining room is a lovely treat. Dinner in main dining room is very good but I would not rate the food in the Chesa Veglia. It has a nice atmosphere but the food is mediocre.
A great hotel for skiing as ski hire, passes and school are all taken care of within the hotel and Angelo brings you to the ski train everyday. It is also a great hotel for non skiers and a wonderful location for walkers.
Prices are as one would expect in St Moritz. I hope to make this an annual event.

What can I say.. From the time we arrived in St Moritz, via the Glacier
Express , an incredible experience on its own, We were picked up by a
magnificent classic Rolls Royce.. the Badrutt's Palace is not just a Resort
, it is a “ Museum” where history speaks to you as you walk through the
hallways, library, eat in the incredible breakfast restaurant, at the
sound of an harpist- The views from every part of the resort are
breathtaking.. the sunrise, over the lake..The location is by far the best
in St Moritz.. you can walk everywhere in the village or for a stroll
around the St Moritz Lake ….skier or not..a visit to the Badrutt's Palace
is a must- A short distance to the Gondola and you are rushed mid-
mountain- effortless. We were fortunate to enjoy one of the best luncheon
I have ever had , at Mathis, the highest European gourmet restaurant at an
altitude of 2,486m.( 8156 ft)-

The Badrutt's Palace also offers plenty of distractions for guests besides
skiing in the winter, tennis , hike in the summer and of course their
absolutely incredible full service SPA: to reach it, one must take an
elevator down below the hotel and step off into a cave-like atmosphere
lined with natural rock walls and dimmed lighting. While swimming or
relaxing in the hot tub, you won’t miss a minute of the Alps, as you can
view them through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows looking out of the
mountainside retreat. If therapy and relaxation are what you’re after,
you’re in luck. There are more than half a dozen rooms to relax in
including a traditional sauna, a sea salt sauna, a massage shower, an ice
bath and more. It was one of the highlight of our stay .
The Badrutt's Palace has ample choice in gastronomy and places to meet :
four bars and seven restaurants, from the oldest : the " Chesa Veglia "
which dated from 1658, the oldest Farmhouse in St Moritz, and to the
newest , the famous Nobu.
The Place also houses the most famous Club in St Moritz: The King's Club.
The Badrutt’s Palace offers the BEST service to ALL its guests: Free movies. Free mini bar. Free
wifi.
I can't wait to return and experience it.. in the summer-

Room Tip: book a Lake View room or suite
