Visited on a Thursday evening when the rest of the old town area was very quiet, the restaurant was bustling! We hadn't booked but were seated at the end of a long table with other diners at the far end. This didn't bother us at all and gave it a nice 'communal' dining feel.
Our waitress was attentive and welcoming, asking whether we wanted to see the English menu rather than just bringing it over and assuming we did, which was a nice touch.
The food was INCREDIBLE, massive portions (we were very hungry after a long day, so didn't mind!). All meat cooked to perfection, vegetables well seasoned, fries crispy.
The dessert menu didn't tempt us, but we were given a complimentary shot (we think it was whisky) topped with whipped cream.
The menu came to around £27 each including beers, not cheap by any standard but where in Switzerland is!? With food this good we didn't mind paying!
