Chalet Runca was recommended to us by friends, and we weren't disappointed. It really is a lovely chalet in a great location. There is a bus stop right outside giving easy access by bus to and from the slopes - no need to walk in those cumbersome ski boots! Mike and Helen were very accommodating hosts and happy to give advice and share their knowledge of the area. We took advantage of Mike's 'in-house' boot and ski hire, which was both convenient and cost effective. The food and wine was lovely, and changes to the menus due to restrictive diets were provided by a very obliging Helen. Everyone enjoyed the sauna/steam room after a hard day on the slopes and some of us couldn't resist taking the challenge of making snow angels in the garden straight from the sauna! Toboggan run? I was invited on to the back of my daughter's, probably to make it go faster. Suffice to say, I'm happy to have survived and haven't laughed so much in ages. All in all, a wonderful holiday!
