Once again we picked the Swiss Inn because of the reviews on Tripadvisor. We agree that the rooms are in definite need of a face-lift.They are very dated.
The room was small but adequate. The bathroom was actually a really nice size.
Location is great. Close to the west station and a large market. We missed the nice German breakfasts that we had on the Germany leg of our trip.
I was told by my family in Germany that we will want to return there because Switzerland is very expensive. I couldn't agree with them more.
We found ourselves visiting the Coop markets every day & packing a lunch from their great selection of sandwiches & other items.
We were able to visit the Jungfrau and also do some paragliding. This is a beautiful part of Switzerland. We also really enjoyed dinner and a drink at The Brasserie 17 without breaking the bank. Love the bartender named Pete, great personality !
The hosts of The Swiss Inn are one of the best reasons to stay here. So very friendly and full of great information & advice of where to go and what to do.
Location , value and great hosts made this a great visit.

The apartment we got (number 1) was OK. It was clean, basic bedroom, bathroom could use renovation. The kitchenette was the main advantage, with everything you need for travel cooking (that is everything but a baking oven). The owners were very friendly and helpful. Still we were not excited about the value, but that's probably because Interlaken is generally expensive. After a couple of nights we moved to Grindelwald where we saw we could get much better hotel rooms (and mountain views...) for lower rates.

A beautiful. excellently kept place and wonderful hosts. We recommend it 100 %.
Veronica exceeded all our expectations in kindness and compassionate care and attention. We are not young, our suitcases were heavy and my knee had been injured that day. She dealt with everything as if it were no big deal at all, chatted with us and made us feel at home. We sincerely thank Veronica and J.P. for their fine hospitality. They deserve all the best success and prosperity. We were there Sept 21.

We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment for two nights and found the accommodation to be OK. Whilst the hosts were very friendly and the location was good, this place is in need of a facelift. There was also a mix-up with our booking and the apartment we had booked wasn't available and we were moved to the only available apartment which had a loft bedroom with very steep stairs which were inappropriate for our toddler son.

We spent two nights in Interlaken, but mostly spent a day touring the area. The hotel is within 5 min walk from the station (west) on a quiet street corner. The apartment itself feels like an old house from the 80s: furniture and bathroom fixtures. The service is quite good, the host knows what we want to see and offer the best options / prices for us, including train tickets. There is no breakfast, but the convenient store in the station is quite good. The hostess offered to drive us to the station on the day of departure, which was raining quite hard. Overall we would recommend the place to budget travelers: it is clean, convenient and friendly.
