I loved the check in process and the shuttle bus that picked us up at the train station! After a long day if travelling and knowing we had a 15min walk ahead it was pleasantly surprising to see the bus waiting there, albeit for someone else but they took us anyhow :-) The check in process was straight forward and the room was very nice, toasty warm with the bathroom especially hot. Fantastic views of the Eiger and Jungfrau from the room.and balcony. The room is a good size with a king/superking sized bed. It has soft drinks included which are replenished daily and a decent amount of space to keep your clothes and ski gear. They have a laundry room on the ground level which was great and they also have a ski gear room for you to leave your skis, boots and helmet. The inclusive breakfast was extensive with a large seating area and a number of self service options. They also had a chefs station for eggs to be cooked for your liking, all in it was a great start to the day. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay and accommodating at all times. It's very close to First, I can literally walk out the hotel and cross the road to the first berg station.
