My husband and I had a wonderful week long stay at the Parkhotel Schoenegg in the beautiful town of Grindelwald. We stayed in the Superior Double room with a wonderful view of the mountains in the original building of the hotel. The large balcony was the perfect spot for a pre-dinner glass of wine. The hotel is also very pet friendly, which we appreciated. Our fur baby was walked when we decided not to take her to extremely high altitudes a couple of times, due to heart issues Thank you so much for this thoughtful gesture! We received excellent service from every member of the staff that we encountered. Our package included the half board option and 3 day “Top Of Europe” pass, which was excellent value for the area. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The local meats and cheeses were a treat! The 3 course dinners were all very tasteful and presented beautifully. The salad bar and cheese selection were a plus! We looked forward to dinner every evening after all day excursions of hiking and sightseeing. My birthday was on our last day, and I was surprised at dinner with a decorated table and thoughtful card from the staff.
