Bsiness trip in Luzern

I got an upgrade and have been moved to an apartment-size room, which was amazing. The price/quality ratio is ridiculous, one of the best that I have ever had. Very good breakfast and good Wifi connection.

My experience

Nice location but there is luck of facilities and the breakfast was limited and it was very very noisy sound coming from the next room and from the top floors it made my night sleep bad Hope there will improvement in the future

Always wonderful

Thank you to the management and staff for a wonderful stay. Great bar and excellent food. The room always very clean. The hotel is well located not far from the old town. A few minutes from the station. The promenade in front of the property is great for long walks. Highly recommend the hotel.

Classy and friendly

Situated right on the Lake Luzern waterfront, and at a walkable distance from the train station, the Grand National is a beautiful building and was the making of our stay in Luzern. It is perfectly situated for exploring Luzern itself, for setting off to other parts of Switzerland by rail, and indeed for trips on the lake.

We were allocated a lake view room: it was large, clean and with a huge comfortable bed. The view over the lake was amazing. The rest of the hotel was lovely: we enjoyed the bar especially - superbly appointed and a delight to relax in. The breakfast was of very high quality.

All of these positives would have been compromised had the staff been bad, but in fact all were very good: unfailingly courteous and helpful, from the staff at reception when we arrived to those at reception when we left. It seems unfair to single people out, but the waiting staff at breakfast and the bar staff were simply excellent.

A great stay.
