You get exactly what you pay for here. I paid for a small comfortable room with good Internet access, and that's just what I got! I was amazed at the serious high WIFI bandwidth I got for my week stay. I was able to easily continue my video conference schedule. Thanks for the GREAT WiFi.

Location is good.
Breakfast was excellent.Small single room without
airconditioning,I had to leave the window open due to the extreme heat but three nights I could not sleep ,it was very noisy outside at night time, even if u did close the window u could still hear noises and screaming from outside.

Pros:
- Bargain for Geneva
- Studio equipped with kitchenette
- Fifth floor rooms have balconies
- Privileged location in Old Geneva

Cons:
 No air conditioning or fans
 No fitness center

Located in one of the world’s top 10 most expensive cities, and situated in a privileged location, the Hotel Bel’Esperance is a bargain. The rooms are cozy and have the expected essentials – television, closet, desk, chair, and safe – plus some bonus features like bedside light switches and patios. Couples may find the single rooms a bit on the tight side; studios offer a bit more space to maneuver. Plus, the studios come with a kitchenette and mini-refrigerator. The self-contained bathroom has an adjustable shower, good water pressure, and a small sink. There is a tight space to place toiletries.

The room was tidy, although I did see some ants near the balcony door. Temperature in Geneva approached the mid-80’s during the day, and the 5th floor room felt quite warm. Opening the balcony doors at night helped to reach a comfortable temperature, but there is no air conditioning or fan. The latter would be a nice, inexpensive touch to cool down on hot days. Bed was comfortable, although the sheets were a bit frayed. Décor is also minimalist with barren, white walls

It is a no-frills approach. You will not find a fitness center or room service here. But if that helps to keep the cost down – nearly half of nearby hotels for this same date – then I am fine with that tradeoff. Also note that the reception is closed from 10am to 7pm.

The location was exceptional. Steps from the famed St. Pierre Cathedral, surrounded by restaurants and shops, and 10-minute walk to Lake Geneva, it is certainly one of the most desirable locations in the city. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk down the hill, and there you will find frequent service to/from the airport. With this in mind, a car is not necessary. Overall, this is a solid choice in Geneva.

The hotel is functional with clean rooms that have clearly been refurbished, the breakfast was good with good coffee machine, fresh croissant etc and also the roof terrace is not to be missed. Location is excellent for lovely old town and the lake, and after catching the train from the airport I had an easy 15 min walk although there is free buses and trams (and train from airport) if you get the ticket from the machine in the baggage hall at the airport. Ok it's not cheap but that's Geneva for you. Would I go back. Yes definitely.

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise for a two star hotel. The rooms are very clean and functional the breakfast very good and it was so quiet. The location in the old town very very central to good restaurants and sights. There is also a rooftop terrace
