We have been received "comme à la maison" as if we were going to Grand-Ma's house.
Hotels (incl. 5*s) are suffering a great deal with the halt on travels. The Ritz in Geneva is not immune to this.
Yet, we were not able to feel any of this.
We were offered a great upgrade with a central view suite, late departure to "a time of our choice".
And... (it is a secret, don't tell anyone), you do not have these typical spa-travelers as... there is no spa. The clients are from a different category.

As said before I am lucky enough to be able to travel the world and stay in some very nice hotels but for me this has been the best so far!
Absolutely exquisite hotel, exquisite rooms and definitely the friendliest staff I have ever encountered!
Now it’s not cheap but it’s Switzerland, it’s Geneva, it’s Mont-Blanc so you can’t expect it to be.
The food in the hotel is very very good, pricey but very good.
At breakfast the GM is there to greet and chat with the guests, a nice touch in my eyes.
The staff are genuinely interested in your trip and your stay and literally cannot do enough for you.
If it’s within your price range then stay here, I highly highly recommend it! You will be treated like a King or Queen!

We enjoyed a great stay. The breakfast in our room overlooking the lake was fantastic. Perfect room with a wonderful bed. Very good location. Complementary delicious chocolates by arrival. Thank you for the good care Laura.

Outstanding service from the Hotel Manager (Stephanie Lauper, thanks again!!). When we arrived we had the most amazing service. The software of the Hotel is absolutely heartwarming. The Hardware (Hotel Property) is maybe a tiny bit worn down but the staff makes up for it!!! Again thanks to Stephanie to make our stay outstanding!

Travelling again is a special experience and I had mixed emotions despite spending more than 15 years of “almost living in hotels”.
But the team at the Ritz Carlton Hotel de la Paix did a great job and it took only a few moments to feel safe and welcome ...and a first step towards “back to normal” again.
Especially Claire and Cyril did a tremendous job. You can see their smile even if they have to wear a mask and you feel their cordial passion for hospitality while action 100% accurate to deliver the new health and safety measures.
I cannot say much about the facilities, since most have to remain closed for the time being but the team around GM Werner Pichler does a great job in difficult times. Thank you very much - I will be back again, soon.
