This was a week to remember! I went to the farmhouse with seven girlfriends. We spent two mornings learning how to make our own pasta, amazing chicken, tarts, and enjoying the spoils, including the farm's olive oil and wine, for lunch. We had a driver then take us to Deruta, Perugia, and other towns in the area. We shopped, we laughed, we ate, and made amazing memories. If you're looking for a unique vacation that includes hands-on cooking classes, definitely book a holiday with Let's Cook in Umbria. BTW, this trip was two years ago (2015) and we (the girls) still talk about how much fun we had!

Raffaela is an excellent teacher and cook. She not only teaches the techniques but also the history and the way her family does it. It was so much fun! We spent the morning preparing the various courses - all of which were based on seasonal availability - and then we spent time at the end eating it all (what did we cook? Eggplant parmigiana appetizer (but not the heavy smothered in tomato sauce you might be thinking of), tagliatelle with a lovely pumpkin sauce (and yes, we made the pasta by hand), a pork loin with grapes and scallions, and a crostata with jam made on the farm. All of it was delicious! We didn't stay at the farm and spend a few days cooking, but wish we could have done that. The setting out in the Umbrian countryside was beautiful. It was only a few miles outside of Perugia, and the cabdriver knew exactly where it was. I highly recommend this class!

Stayed in one of the apartments for a week, and did four cooking lessons. Raffa welcomes you into her home and passes on delicious recipes from her grandmother. The lessons were so much fun and interactive, the best part being the delicious lunch you get to eat after preparing along with your classmates. We were also given wine with our lunch that is produced on their farm.

Raffa is unbelievably helpful with any queries, has great recommedations and contacts for anything you may wish to do. I had such a nice holiday here, highly recommended!

We were a group of 4 traveling together who attended Raffaella's class along with 2 other women. It was one of the highlights of our 15 day vacation. She gives you the true meaning of not only cooking true Umbria food but how to do it with love. I would highly recommend anyone who is interested to attend her class!!

I absolutely LOVE Raffaela! I have brought three groups to Umbria in the last two years because I know that they will have a truly authentic ITALIAN experience. Raffa is a complete professional and also makes you feel like you are part of the family by the time you leave.

The Agriturismo is perfect for my groups, with views of the Umbrian Olive valleys and walks through vineyards, it doesn't get much better than that - but our beautiful little apartments are delightful for our stay. Raffa has a wonderful breakfast cake (Crostata) traditional Italian breakfast for everyone in their rooms as well as other items to prepare our breakfast in the mornings.

After a full day of interactive classes learning everything from rolling out and cutting pasta properly to learning traditional Perugian dishes, you couldn't really ask for more...BUT Raffa also plans little excursions for you to take to discover more about this lovely area of Italy.

If you have considered taking a COOKING in ITALY trip but don't know where to start - you have found the place! Look no further! It will be unforgettable ~
