Located in strategic position on Vinci area, close to the city center (5mins walking) and strategic for all direction in Tuscany (40mins to Florence, 30mins to Pisa, 40mins to Siena, 30mins to Pistoia).

Welcoming hotel, lovely staff, big room, great air con. The big winner though is Vinci, beautiful Tuscan town, close enough to visit Florence, Pisa and Siena easily on day trips. Phenomenal local wine.
This hotel has a few years on its neck. The standard is very basic but the place is clean and works for the purpose. It's about 5 minutes walk from the square of the village.
It feels like a family driven hotel and the effort the staff do in order to please you gives this place great rating. It could not be found at hotels.com so you need to make your own reservation. During our visit the lady working there went our of way to drive us to the restaurant over by the museum, La Toretta that definitely needs a visit.
All good at the start. Then breakfast was minimal. Coffee and dry toast. Breakfast was surprisingly much better when a whole load of Asians came to stay. Not great value for money, probably why they don't advertise their rates online. My stay ended up costing about 30% more then what I expected. Shop around if you want to stay in Vinci.
Really a good place to stay, rooms are always clean ,lots of TV channels even in English, rates are good specially because of the area,all the people that work here are always very friendly and helpful!
Good location and a short walk from good restaurants but odd set up with payment. Hotel insisted I pay day before I check out at 9pm in the evening as credit card machine would not be working in the morning, and then tried to insist on cash payment. Then city tax had to be paid separately and in cash only with no receipt! Bit odd. In the morning when I left the hotel I asked another member of staff about the Credit Card machine and was it working today, apparently it always works! Very strange.
The rooms are rather dated and small. If you want the air con you will have to get the controller from reception as the hotel does not trust you not to steal it.
