Meal was fantastic , wine good and the service was amazing thank you. My husband had lobster and my self sea bass on a bed of spinach and potatoe. We had the most tasty chickpea soup too. Fully recommended

Thank Nadine G

This is the best restaurant that we found in Siena. It is very definitely Tuscan and had several dishes that we had not encountered.
Nice room not a large restaurant ,excellent service. Just had the house wines by the glass but very good.

We arrived excited for a birthday meal at a family establishment well-recommended. The dinner unfortunately, was largely a debacle. We asked for whiskey to start and one shot of 'Old Round" whiskey (which Google has not heard of) was all that was available. That we could forgive in a family establishment. But for our bourbon-starved birthday boy it was not a good start.

Next we ordered a nice bottle of wine with a 2008 vintage and a hefty price tag. The first place the matron of the house started looking for it was in the dusty cabinet with the rag tag looking set of bottles including Old Round. 20 minutes later after searching through many bottles, she brings in a bottle that was not even discussed and says (as she opens it) sorry this is all we have. It, like much of the food we were served, left much to be desired.

We WANTED this to be a great experience but in terms of food, it was by far the worst of our trip. We ordered 2 pastas and 3 mains and the order of the food was confused with one of the mains brought out and the dinner out of sequence. The only saving grace was the lamb dish, which was plausible. Otherwise it was Fawlty Towers all the way...

We all had the Tuscan tasting menu. Four courses, pecorino cheese as basis of first course, gnocci second, slow cooked veal, then apple upside down cake. Small, but full restaurant with many locals eating. They got kisses from the owner!

Nice restaurant. Timing of bread, wine and amuse-bouche not ideal. Starters very fine. Truffelled pasta with flour based sauce a bit sticky but still tasty. Then meat wrap a la Enzo: very tasty - however ordered well done against the restaurant recommendation. The side bread selection broad, but everything very well baked and thus rather dry. Wine prices very reasonable.
The restaurant delivers high class food at reasonable prices. The other guests have been wearing T-shirts which I felt was not just appropriate for this setting.
