We wanted a back street authentic restaurant and this is certainly what we got, no tourist gimmicks, just great food at an affordable price. My Penne with black Truffle and Wild Mushrooms was outstanding, my wife had the Pici (large Spaghetti) with Ragu which was thick and tasty as you would expect and the bottle of wine was well priced and delicious. Yes the location is a back street, so you don't get a big vista, but the atmosphere and the food were what we went for and made the evening very special.

Went out shortly after booking in to our apartment and decided that we would take pot luck. We ordered the set meal for two. Starters, main, dessert, coffee and a generous slug of house red.
The starters were 3 different Croston I, really tasty, well presented and colourful. Also quite filling when accompanied by the unsalted bread in a bag that was also delivered to the table. The main was a delicious (obviously homemade) lasagne. It was dense and very tasty, just the sort of lasagne I wish I could make. Dessert said 'cake' on the menu, but when it came it was a delicious individual tiramisu and a stunning panacotta with a raspberry jus. We washed it down with a fierce espresso. The wine was a lovely surprise, okay and forest fruity with a peppery nose and a warming afterglow. The service was unobtrusive and professional. We will be back.

An excellent kitchen and a typical tuscan meny, in combination with a friendly atmosphere makes this restaurang worth visiting. It is located in a more quiet part of the town and that makes it possible to sit outside and enjoy the dinner.

Wild boar, pasta, and our waiter selected an antipasto at our request; it was both diverse in content and delicious. We needed a restaurant that opened earlier as we were travelling with a young child and this Osteria opens at 6:30pm.

It was an excellent meal, good service and pleasant setting, off the Main Street. We would certainly visit again.

Just a couple of minutes off the main street and away from all the crowds is a little gem of a restaurant. The food is superb and authentic. The service was great. We ate here twice during our week, once for lunch and once for dinner. We usually never do this but on both occasions we left happy. We sat outside both times but inside looked very appealing also.
