We spent 2 nights in the main building and it was a very comfortable.
Nicely decorated rooms with view to the valley. As we were accomodate in the main building where we book all the 2 rooms, we could use the soggiorno(living room) with fireplace and a big dinning table.
House is perfectly renovated. Ornella, the owner couldn't be more polite and helpful.
We would like to book an additional night but unfortunately the house was booked.
The most picturesque view from the garden to the city of San Gimignano and from the breakfast terasse to the valley.
The city center is 10 min by walk and 5 min by car.
We will definetely recommend to those who want to travel to Tuscany and search for a perfect accomodation !

The place itself is very simple and nice with great views and location steps from San Gimignano so you can hide away from the crowds of tourists.
However
1) we had the room with bathroom across the public hall and laundry room. Wouldn't call that convenient and is definetely worth noticing in room description
2) when we were late for 40 minutes for 10 am checkout (my fault) we came to find out that the room cleaning was already started and the bed sheets were off. I beleive that was the moment when my dress also gone by mistake. Unfortunately my request to the hotel via FB was left unanswered. I personally would prefer to pay penalty than loose new 200E clothing.
Overall, not your place if you're looking for privacy.

We had stayed at quite a few Tuscan Hotels before arriving here. Driving down the bumpy Gravel track, We were greeted with views to die for.
If you are the boring city folk, Who don't like Squeeky floorboards, noisy Nature, ie birds, No Tinternet, or wifffy, Need TV,, (Which would only show Italian channels anyway). Then Don't come to Tuscany to start with!
Our room in the main house was very nice , Had been restored years ago with a lot of very nice original details.
The BATH,,,,,, Wot no shower !! Was a Super style, and to be honest, a nice change.
There is a hair dryer.
The main bit though, was going outside early to see the mist in the valley below, Good job i had a good camera, with big storage, as i took literally hundreds of snaps.
This house is in the best location ever, it has numerous different viewing points, Plus excellent ones of the Town and Towers of San Gimignano.
Breakfast was only 5 Euros Ea, and very nice.
Town 3 minutes drive to car park, or 10 mins walk UP HILL
We wanted to change our travel plans to stay another night,, But booked up , Boo Hoo
Fully recommend, unless disabled, very old, or Blind!!

We spent 4 nights in early April at Onello's family's wonderful location. It's only been in her family since 1413 so there is "some" history. Surrounded by olive grove with great view of San Gimignano walls and towers. 15-20 minute walk to town center up part dirt/gravel road. Very authentic surroundings. Little tough to spot road first time and very narrow road in. Great base for exploring Toscana. Will return.

We spent a glorious 3 nights at this property and thoroughly enjoyed it. San Gimignano is the most gorgeous little town and we just loved going up there daily for a good look around. The property is within walking distance of the town albeit uphill but the views from the property are amazing.
The breakfast that was offered each morning was lovely and Ornella is extremely nice and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for her.
I would recommend this property to anyone in a heartbeat - we hope to go back one day soon!
