We enjoyed lunch here so much we booked in for dinner on our last evening in SanG.
It's a little way outside the old city walls, down a very plain street but it is worth the detour.
Our lunch consisted of various bruschetta slices, all priced per piece, with plenty of vegetarian options, all were amazing, especially the spicy ones. My partner bulked this out by attempting to eat a whole meat board, he assures me the quality of it was the only reason there wasn't much left at the end.
For dinner he went for nduja pasta which he still raves about, and I had a zucchini and saffron risotto which was perfect and left me enough room to be the greedy-guts this time and try the tiramisu. The perfect end. The wine and coffee was pretty good too.

They have a relaxed atmosphere and food is good and prepared by one of the owners. They have a enclosed patio area. Good place for families. The maccroni with sausage and saffron was great. We ordered a second dish. The white house wine was good.

I went here two times with my girlfriend during my stay in the toscany and would recomment a visit especially for people interested in ecological and tasty italien food. The owner gets the vegetables from the small farm of her father and you can also buy local products in the restaurant. Furthermore it is a good choice for people with allergies due to the signs in the menu. The menu offers also a great variety of vegan dishes. The people in the service were very friendly and spoke good english.

My husband and I were thrilled to find this lovely restaurant while spending a couple of days in San Gimignano. It's run by a charming husband and wife team. The food is simple but delicious, with a focus on local, organic food. As others have mentioned, the prices are very reasonable. We sat on the patio, which has a gorgeous view of the surrounding countryside.

Parking is hard to find around San Gimignano but just outside the local COOP and this quant restaurant is a small but convenient place to park. We used it often when visiting San G. and on several nights when coming back to our villa, close to the medieval town, from a day's outing at Pisa, Florence or Cinque Terre this was a great place to park and wonder into town or in this case late one night to a kind establishment called "La Loggia". Here we found the atmosphere to be pleasant, relaxed and very hospitable. The service was slower than what we are used to in North America but it was also near closing time so any service was welcome. The staff took an interest in our origins and shared some polite and appreciated conversation with us. They explained their bread and wine creations and how they came to be, taking great pride in the fact that many of the items on the menu are grown by local farmers and being from Saskatchewan, Canada the Bread Basket of the World; I could certainly relate.
