Two 60th Birthdays and a 30th Birthday in in the family had me searching where to stay that would suit us all. Having decided on Pisa as a destination we decided this was the place for us and we were right. We stayed here for 7 nights unlike most of the reviews who seem to have been passing through. Family run by several generations, convenient for the train station, quiet and spotlessly clean we couldn't have been happier.
Two rooms 108 and 109. 108 had a balcony which we enjoyed. Room was well furnished. Mini bar , tv, safe etc. Spacious bathrooms with good showers, magnifying mirrors and fluffy towels and hairdryer.
Breakfast in the morning was very good choice. Fruit Juice, Yoghurt, cereals, meat, cheese, bread, pastries and tea and excellent coffee what're could you want to start the day. Breakfast served till 10am which was good for the odd lazy day. Check out 12 mid day. Such a lovely place despite our lack of Italian it was easy to make ourselves understood and the recommendations for food in the evenings were spot on. While we were on the opposite side of the river Arno to the main attraction of the Tower (20 mi walk) we were right next to the train station and had day trips to Florence, Lucca, Livorno, Viareggio and La Spezia all within easy distance. First class stay. Will return.More
