Stayed for 4 days in October, about 30 minute walk from the airport. Yes its a tired looking hotel but its got charm and you don't spend all day in the room. Staff really helpful and happy to help, just a few words of italian and their faces light up!

Breakfast is basic but food is really cheap and so many places to eat.

Got train to florence for the day only 34 euros return for both of us, took about 1hr 20 mins

Room tip: Room 44 or 66 have the best views, but we had 64 and it was ok

First impressions are a run down hotel but you need to look beyond that in favour of friendly staff and perfect location and that is more important than the physical state of the hotel. If you are in somewhere like Pisa, the location is the reason you are there, the hotel is just somewhere to dump your suitcases and get your head down.
Breakfast was normal euro food, the coffee was excellent.
Staff were friendly and accommodating.
Room cleanliness was adequate, the bathroom small but functional, air conditioning worked but the bedroom furniture was in need of replacement and there was some decorating issues.

Hotel is located in an ideal area - not far from the train station and very near the leaning tower and cathedral. Reception staff very helpful. Rooms are very dated and in need of decoration, air conditioning doesn't work. Breakfast is terrible - croissant, bread ( not fresh) and ham - some cheese spread and jam - the dining room attendant is very hostile and needs to learn to smile - actually made us feel uncomfortable.

This hotel is pretty easy to walk to from the train station and once there the location really is perfect.

The entrance is pleasant and the reception looks nice, the man who checked us in could have been a little more friendly and a little less brusque but he got the job done i guess. The girl who took over from him later and the night staff were much friendlier.

The aircon in the room barely worked, this was manageable in September but I wouldnt fancy it during hotter months.

Despite having wifi advertised the service provided was barely enough to send an email. Browsing the net was painfully slow and there was no chance it could cope with a call or streaming a movie etc.

The hotel looks out onto a sort of plaza and this made it a little noisy on a Saturday night.

Overall basic and clean with a great location but the poor wifi and aircon means I would probably look for somewhere else if travelling through Pisa again.

2 minutes from the Tower. Very helpful staff with good advice on the tourist attractions and recommendations for restaurants. Excellent breakfast with good choice. Rooms are traditional but could benefit from a little updating.
