While touring Lucca ,my wife and I were getting hungry and looking to find shade on a warm day. We spotted this lively local restaurant on the side of San Michele. We might have been the only tourists there but everyone was welcoming. It would be good to know the language. We were able to get by with basic Italian and pointing at what we wanted. The food and wine was fine. We loved the outdoor cafe seating, slowing down and watching local life unfold before our eyes.
