1. Tried to charge us double for a slightly upgraded room
2. Director of Rooms snivelled at us after front desk messed up on #1
3. Facilities broken. From the broken glass above the main bar-- cordoned off but not fixed; to the hot tub without heat; to our tub with brown water. Just not good enough.
4, concierge does not confirm anything. Provided a resto list wherein half the rests are closed.
5. Spa mixed up our appointment times and said one of us must go anyway. How romantic for our anniversary.
6. Breakfast tasted like heated dish soap.

And this is just day 2 of 7.

Room tip: Don't stay in the annex building.

A wonderful hotel in a wonderful city. Yes, it's expensive, but worth every penny. The swimming pool and gardens provided a real oasis and it was great being able to come back from sightseeing in the morning and lie by the pool for a few hours. The staff and level of service were superb and I am looking forward to finding an excuse to return!

The Four Seasons, Florence personifies the concept of absolute luxury. Take one Gherardesca Palazzo, add one of the most beautiful gardens in the city, and combine with a converted former convent and you end up with what is simply the finest hotel in one of Europe's most exciting cities. If you are planning a trip to Florence and budget is not an issue, be sure to stay in this oasis of tranquility and grand luxe.

This hotel is breathtaking. The gardens are so beautiful and surprising to find in the city. I can't rave enough about the charm of this hotel and the service. When ever my husband and I travel we always look to see if there is a four seasons. You can always count on them. They certainly didn't disappoint. When we arrived we found a bottle of champagne, fruit, chocolate cake and a hand written note. They don't miss a beat. Thank you!
