Wow! Experience the absolute best in world-class service at Four Seasons Hotel. Product, service levels, ambiance, and food and beverage were all over the top. Within 5 minutes' walking distance of the duomo and l'Accademia (Statue of David), it is in the perfect location. After a busy day of walking around Florence, nothing is more relaxing than walking around the beautiufl park within the hotel's walls. A quiet, hidden jewel within the bustling city of Florence. Well worth the splurge to stay here!

We are currently at this magnificent property, set in acres and acres of private and gated gardens. While it is situated away from the main squares of Florence, in a beautiful residential area, the location is still close enough for a lovely walk the Duomo, and environs. The hotel is comprised of two separate palazzos with the magnificent gardens in between. In our one bedroom, one and 1/2 bath suite, the floors are gorgeous inlaid parquet, with beautiful oriental rugs, and lovely furnishings. The frescoed, Medici era palazzo and restored convent have been remodeled to perfection, with all modern amenities expected of a Four Seasons Hotel, while keeping the beauty of the Medici era. This suite has the largest and best lit bathroom I have ever stayed in, period. While the suites are quite expensive here during high season (1400 EU),
We are are staying for six nights and feel the cost ratio to comfort and beauty has been worth it.

Room Tip: Suite 724 in the remodeled convent is a corner suite with no adjoining walls, and extremely quiet and beautiful.

We were so glad we made the decision to stay at the Four Seasons during our stay in Florence. The hotel provided a fabulous refuge to the crowds and chaos of Florence in June. The twenty minute walk to town was fine, and it was interesting to see the different neighborhoods. The gardens were so relaxing and private. I loved swimming in the refreshing pool each morning.
The deluxe room was very large and beautiful with perfect bedding, but I should have requested a garden view room, as we had no view, but faced the courtyard. The good part was that it was extremely quiet.
We had mixed experiences at the restaurant. The first morning they managed to get nearly every part of the order wrong and every special request was a disaster. Plus, it took forever to get our food. The next morning we dined at 8am rather than 10am, made only one special request, and it was perfect and quick. We had our last night's dinner at Il Pallagio. There was a very nice ambiance, outside with a piano player and fire flies. It was very convenient to not have to walk to town for dinner and the service was outstanding. The food was over all very good (with the exception of one pork entree that was very dry). The prices were higher than we had been paying on our for similar quality, but it was worth it given the experience. Plus, everything in Florence was more expensive than Tuscany or Milan.
I would highly recommend staying here, especially in the summer months.

Room Tip: I should have requested a garden view. The inside rooms are quiet, but a view would have been nicer.

Perhaps the most beautiful hotel in which we have ever stayed. The remodeling of this former villa is both breathtaking and true to its intrinsic history. As expected, the service is impeccable, the staff treated us as if we truly meant something to them. And this was the case with every single person we encountered. The suite we had was both lovely and comfortable. Our meal at the restaurant was quite nice and they had an extensive wine list that for a high-end locale offered good value. Both the gym and the spa were created from original structures as well and were wonderfully appointed and maintained. It was a uniquely superb experience and I dare say, you may not want to leave the hotel once you arrive! We certainly will stay there next time we are in Firenze.

Room Tip: Our corner suite was a delight.
