Owner description: This outdoor museum space is a peaceful place to rest your weary feet after a long day of sight seeing. Admire some of Florence's most iconic original sculptures from Cellini's "Perseus" to Giambologna's "Rape of the Sabines."

Waiting for your tour at the Uffizi Gallery, take some time and view the many sculptures in this covered area behind the gallery (the Piazza Signoria). Statues by Giambologna (the rape of the sabines and Hercules fighting the centaur), Cellini's Perseus holding the head of medusa and other world as well

This is a free experience as it is just part of the piazza. There are many statues to see and you can wander among them which is amazing.

This is an area where people come to rest amidst unique sculptures. Best of all is it’s free! There are original sculptures and they are quite impressive. This area is right next to Uffizi. My favorite is of Perseus.

With what seems like statues and huge churches and basilicas at every turn this corner of one square has a collection of various sculptures by proteges of the the more renowned. Worth spending a few mins to enjoy part of Florentine history.
