After a long walk on stairs with luggages, we meet with the kind manager and enjoyed their hospitality.. Florence historical center is really small.. Terefore I can tell you locatiion is great because I could here the bell rings of the duomo in my room clearly :)

At first, I should tell you will live the history in here, but comfort not too much..
Rooms are definitely clean, wi-fi is working good, but there's no much privacy for the shower inside the room :)

Breakfast was also not so perfect, very standart jam and butter things..

It^s up to you and your expectation actually.. I think it worths for the money

Near the main train station and some great monuments of the city, the staff was really friendly.

The wifi connection was only in one room on the floor where the reception was and we weren't really satisfied about that.

Stayed one night, check in and out was easy. Very central location and the room was very big with nice towels & linen. Management were very helpful and the breakfast was plentiful with good coffee.
Not ideal for those who struggle with stairs as there is no accessibility access.

The best thing about Hotel Bavaria is the location. You're in between the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio, and only a 5-10 minute walk from each. The service was also great- the staff was constantly helpful and available 24/7, the breakfast was solid, and the rooms were large and unique. One downside was that it was hard to find- only a small sign marks the entryway, and the reception is up several flights of stairs with no elevator. Air conditioning also wasn't perfect, and we had a shared bathroom, which wasn't always ideal.

The hotel was wonderful, in a fabulous location, and I loved waking every morning to the sound of bells from the Duomo. The room was kept spotlessly clean and was really surprisingly large and it was lovely to stay in a building with so much history and character (a 16th century palazzo). There was plenty to choose from for breakfast in the morning (in amount and variety), plus the ladies who worked in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful. The gentleman who met us when we arrived was also extremely helpful and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend Hotel Bavaria Firenze to anyone I know planning on visiting Florence.
